Week 2: INSPIRED VISION:
A vision is a mental picture of the result you want to achieve. Think of your vision as a picture so clear and strong that it is pulling you closer every day. Dr Demartini tells us that those with a vision flourish, those without a vision perish.
You need to create a vision for your property investing dreams and take steps every single day towards it. The magnitude of your vision will determine your outcome. Make your vision BIG and powerful. Shoot for the center of the galaxy, worst case you'll get a few stars!
People can sense when you are not certain. You can sense when you are not certain and that will play out in the conversations you have, the plans you put in place and the properties you view. Spend some time getting very clear on what it is you are chasing. There is no point rushing around chasing every property that is for sale.
Stop. Get clear. Focus. Spend your time chasing properties that are going to get you closer to your vision. Your portfolio will not grow past your vision!
When the voice on the inside is clearer than the voice on the outside, that's when you become visionary and that's when you master your life.
How do you do it?
Think about why you want to invest in property. Got it? Now write it down
Think about how much money you want to make as a result of investing in property. Write that down too.
Now, consider which strategy suits you best. Do you like the idea of passive income in your pocket every month? Maybe you need to follow Buy To Let. Do you like the idea of large sums of money coming at you intermittently? Go for Distressed Properties that can be fixed up and flipped.

At this point, you are probably thinking ah Tanya, grow up! Be serious. It is time to adult.
No but wait, what if…?
Often we live our lives on autopilot, waking up on a Monday morning, taking a deep breath as we brace ourselves for the inevitable and then whoosh, the week spits us out on a Friday afternoon, frazzled and exhausted. The weekend is spent trying to recover and build up enough energy to do it all again,
You are living in survival mode, no space or time to think about where you are going or why. That’s how the days, weeks, months and years simply fly past. That’s how we find ourselves in June when I am so sure we celebrated new years just a week ago?
How many of you have heard of a vision board? How many of you have a vision board? How many of you have no idea what a vision board is?
A vision board is a collection of images, words, textures that reflect your hopes and dreams. A place where you can visually display your goals for the future.
Think of a vision board as an opportunity to spend some time thinking about what you really want from life, to think about how you really want to FEEL. Did you know that all of your goals, dreams and ambitions can be traced back to how you want to feel.
Think about what kind of property portfolio would you like? Hundreds of little Buy To Lets? Just one big development? What do your dream properties look like? Where are they located?
If you are visually oriented, find pictures. Motivated by words? Find words that describe how you want to feel. Inspirational quotes. Type them out and print them up. Include textures and colors to bring it all to life.
Get a big piece of cardboard, it must be the same size as your TV. Now, gather images that inspire you, make you feel alive. Cut out pictures from magazines and websites to create a board that reflects the life you want to be living. Paste them all onto the board.
Now for the most important step. Place your board in front of the TV. That way, when you want to collapse on the couch at the end of a hard day with a glass of crispy white to watch Days of Other Peoples Lives, you have to pick up your hopes and dreams first and put them aside.
Just creating the board is never enough. Every morning, take 5 minutes to look at the images on your vision board, study them carefully. Now, close your eyes.
Imagine your hands closing over the keys of that perfect property you just secured.
Feel the tickle of champagne bubbles tickle your throat as you sip on that ice cold Moet to celebrate your achievement.
Take a deep breath as you inhale the heady scent of concrete as the refurb begins (ok that is a stretch but you get the idea!)
The more passion, excitement, and energy we muster during visualization, the more
powerful the results will be.
Excellent. Now you can go back to your normal life.
The best part is even if you don’t believe it, even if you think this is all hocus pocus, it is too late. The universe has already summoned all its magical forces.
You have envisaged it, the life you want to live. That life you is pulling you, drawing you closer. Whether you turn left or right, whether you talk to this person or that person, you are moving towards your destiny. Magic is on your side and your world is about to change.
Now get started on that vision - magical forces are just waiting for you to play your part!
